A space built around what women actually carry.
Between career, caregiving, relationships, and everyone else's expectations, women often carry more than gets acknowledged. Renew Counseling offers CBT-based telehealth therapy that makes space for what you're actually carrying.
What often goes unspoken
None of this means you're not handling things well. It means you've been carrying a lot for a long time.
Role overload
Juggling career, family, and caregiving with little acknowledgment of the load.
Societal expectations
Pressure to meet standards that were never realistic to begin with.
Self-worth tied to others
Measuring your own worth by how well you're meeting everyone else's needs.
Life-stage transitions
Motherhood, career changes, or midlife shifts that reshape identity.
Difficulty prioritizing yourself
Putting your own needs last so consistently it starts to feel normal.
Guilt around boundaries
Feeling guilty for saying no, resting, or asking for what you need.
Support that starts with what you're carrying
Using CBT, we'll work through the specific pressures and patterns shaping how you see yourself and your role, whether that's around caregiving, career, self-worth, or a life stage you're moving through. The goal is a space where your needs get to matter too.
- CBT-based support tailored to the pressures you're actually facing
- A space to prioritize your own needs without guilt
- Telehealth-only, fitting around an already full schedule
- Support through specific life stages, from career shifts to motherhood to midlife
Common questions
Is this only for mothers?
No. While motherhood is one life stage this can support, clients come in at every stage, career-focused, newly married, navigating midlife, or anything in between.
Can this help with postpartum adjustment?
Postpartum adjustment is one of many transitions we can work through together using CBT. If you're looking for a specialized perinatal mental health certification specifically, feel free to ask during your consultation so we can talk through whether this is the right fit.
Do I need a specific diagnosis to start?
No. Many clients come in simply feeling stretched thin or unsure of themselves, not with a formal diagnosis. That's a completely valid reason to reach out.
What does payment look like?
Renew Counseling is private-pay, with sessions at $150 for 50 minutes. A superbill can be provided on request if you'd like to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurer. Full details are on the Rates page.
