How therapy helps

Individual work, real change in your relationships

This is individual therapy, not couples counseling. Using CBT, we'll look at the patterns you bring into relationships, communication, boundaries, and conflict, and build tools you can use in your relationships going forward, whether or not anyone else is in the room.

  • CBT-based work on communication patterns, boundaries, and conflict
  • Individual sessions, so change doesn't depend on anyone else showing up
  • Telehealth-only, fitting around your schedule
  • A space to understand your own patterns without judgment
Good to know

Common questions

Is this couples therapy?

No. Renew Counseling offers individual therapy only. This is a space to work on your own patterns and responses within relationships, not joint sessions with a partner.

Can this help if my partner won't go to therapy?

Yes. Since this is individual work, you can make real progress on your own communication, boundaries, and patterns regardless of whether a partner is involved.

Does this only apply to romantic relationships?

Not at all. Many clients work through patterns with family members, friends, or coworkers, not just romantic partners.

What does payment look like?

Renew Counseling is private-pay, with sessions at $150 for 50 minutes. A superbill can be provided on request if you'd like to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurer. Full details are on the Rates page.
